We are thrilled to partner with Sole Motion for this special event. We have close to 20 puppies attending, and this will be their debut! Those in attendance will be the very first to meet this adorable crew—featuring Poodle mixes and other small breed mixes—before they become adoptable shortly after the event.

It's Fido Friday and today we get an update on Simon who is now known as Clover.

"The adoption was seamless. The moment we met Simon we were in love! His tongue was always hanging out and still does to this day. We were informed about Clover through a friend, who adopted his brother Theodore. The puppies see each other for playdates frequently. Clover has been the perfect addition to our family.
My daughters adore him, unless he's nipping at their heels, which is happening less frequently. Clover is house trained and using his dog run. He has been a cute, loveable family companion.
It was a great adoption process. Big shout out to the foster mom! She was very nice and easy to work and communicate with.
Final note: Clover was 1 of 3 brothers, Alvin (now Loki) being the oldest. We have gotten them all together for a playdate. Picture attached."

What an incredible day! Our Pars for Paws Golf Tournament was a huge success, and it was so wonderful to see everyone having a great time while coming together for a cause that means so much to us. ❤️🐶

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing supporters, we raised a significant amount to help Fur-Ever Homes Rescue continue saving homeless and displaced dogs. Every dollar makes a difference — helping us pay veterinary bills, provide food and supplies, and give dogs the second chance they deserve. 🐾❤️

We want to send a HUGE thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy and hearts to help make the day such a success. We couldn't have done it without you!

🧸❤️ MEET MONTY — OUR LITTLE TEDDY BEAR LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! ❤️🧸

Some dogs walk into your life and quietly steal your heart… and then there’s Monty, who seems to have made it his personal mission. 🥹

At 8 years old, this sweet Westipoo mix has perfected the art of being loved. His favorite activities include walks, playing, sleeping, cuddling, getting ALL the pets, and—very importantly—receiving head, neck, back, tummy AND butt rubs. 😂❤️

And if you happen to pick him up? Well… congratulations. You have just discovered Monty’s happy place. 🧸

Monty is an affectionate little shadow who loves his people so much that he likes to follow them wherever they go. At night, he wants to sleep right beside his person, and during the day, you’ll often find him happily curled up in a cozy blanket fort.

Well, he does have selective hearing. 👂😂

You can call his name… nothing.

Call him again… still nothing.

Whisper the word “treat” from three rooms away?

👀 “DID SOMEONE SAY TREAT?!”

What Monty is looking for isn't complicated.

He wants a patient, loving home where he can stay close to his person, enjoy gentle exercise, receive plenty of affection, and spend his days being someone's beloved little shadow.

He doesn't need to be the fastest dog.
He doesn't need to be the youngest dog.
He doesn't need wild adventures.

He just needs someone who will love him exactly as he is. ❤️

And honestly… once Monty chooses you, we're pretty sure you'll wonder how you ever lived without him.

🧸❤️ MEET MONTY — OUR LITTLE TEDDY BEAR LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! ❤️🧸

Some dogs walk into your life and quietly steal your heart… and then there’s Monty, who seems to have made it his personal mission. 🥹

At 8 years old, this sweet Westipoo mix has perfected the art of being loved. His favorite activities include walks, playing, sleeping, cuddling, getting ALL the pets, and—very importantly—receiving head, neck, back, tummy AND butt rubs. 😂❤️

And if you happen to pick him up? Well… congratulations. You have just discovered Monty’s happy place. 🧸

Monty is an affectionate little shadow who loves his people so much that he likes to follow them wherever they go. At night, he wants to sleep right beside his person, and during the day, you’ll often find him happily curled up in a cozy blanket fort.

Well, he does have selective hearing. 👂😂

Don’t let the name fool you—Snoopy is anything but a Snoopy no-sniff!

At 7 years old, this Boxer mix is looking for a retirement home where she can finally let her guard down. 🐾

The good stuff: Snoopy loves "Go Walkies" (she’ll push past the other dogs to be first out the door!), stealing gardening gloves (sorry, roses!), and being brushed until she shines. She’s a loyal shadow who just wants to be near you—whether you’re gardening (she’ll watch from her hidey-hole) or relaxing indoors.

The honest stuff: Snoopy is cautious. Meeting new people is scary for her, and it takes patience to earn her trust. She’s looking for a quiet home with humans who are home often to help her confidence grow. She walks beautifully on a leash and has lived with dogs of all sizes—she’s even cool with cats! If she has a doggy pal, she might be okay with you leaving for a bit, but she prefers your company.

The progress: When she first arrived, she wouldn't even leave the yard. Now? She’s exploring sidewalks and pathways like a champ! She’s a bit creaky (motion is lotion for this senior lady), but she’s still eager to strut her stuff.

Here lies a noble damsel, a Chihuahua mix of two-and-a-half years, cast out by a wretched stepmother (whom we shall name ‘Homelessness’) and left to wander the cruel streets. Though she is small of stature, her heart is vast as the heavens.

She is no common cur! She possesseth a spirit that delights in:
☀️ Sunbeams (her loyal courtiers)
🎾 The chase of the orb (playing)
🍖 Succulent treats
🚶‍♀️ Strolls through the kingdom
🛏️ Quiet slumber upon the royal bed

Yet, she is a loyal subject who doth follow her foster mother through the castle, never straying. She cuddles with her canine companions and yearns for a home that is quiet and calm—free from the chaos of many courtiers.

THE CONDITIONS OF THE BOON:
We seek a noble adopter, one with experience in the ways of rescue dogs, and a resident confident canine to serve as her trusted knight and guide. She must be bestowed upon a household in Calgary.

It's Fido Friday! Today we are getting an update on Sweetie who is now Bee.

"She has been the absolute best addition to our family, we couldn't have asked for a better dog. Initially she has a little regression with potty training but that only lasted a few weeks. We took her to my parent's in BC for Christmas and she did amazing on the plane and with the trip overall, a gold star traveller! She got to visit my grandparents which was really special. She does have some pretty severe separation anxiety. I work from home so it isn't often we leave her, usually she's within feet of me, she's getting way better. She's on a little dog prozac as prescribed by her vet and it's done wonders for her confidence too. We can leave her up to three hours now, crated as she really thinks power cords are a yummy snack when left unattended. She is very quiet and almost never barks. She goes to a daycare once a week or so for socialization and loves it, she makes so many friends.
Bee is quirky and sensitive and full of personality, with very appropriately timed sighs and "can you believe this?" eye contact. She's resting her head on my lap as i type this, though that may be in part protest of waking up so early....sh'e not a morning dog. We had to get a bigger mattress as she sleeps at our feet most nights (horizontally of course!), but not before a good hour of snoozing on her back with her head on my pillow like a human. Bee loves her walks around the neighborhood and recently discovered squirrels, and also that she cannot climb trees. She is very smart, she in fact can open doorknobs. She is agile, a very fast runner and a very high jumper but is still learning how to play with toys. She likes crinkly ones more than squeaks and she is a destroyer of poor lamb chop. She is very food motivated, and will jump a foot in the air if you say it's time for Bee dinner! She is our very best friend."
